As we continue our journey through Lent, we have some wonderful spiritual resources available here at church—all are free and available to everyone. I hope that they will be a help and guide to you in this season, and a guide as we journey together on the Way. These resources include,
• Guided Journals—Available under the screen in the narthex, blending Scripture and reflections from the film, The Way, for each of the weeks of Lent.
• “Hit the Trail” Hiking Guides—Also available under the screen in the narthex: guide to local hikes in Perinton, Pittsford, and Penfield, donated by Wegmans.
• Stones—A basket is available by the sanctuary entrance, to represent your spiritual devotional this Lent—select one to take home or carry with you during Lent. We will return them to place at the foot of the cross during Holy Week.
• Music–From composer and Feb 22 guest speaker Dr. Octavio Vazquez, including “Tropos,” which was inspired by the Camino de Santiago, can be found on his YouTube page—simply search “The Music of Octavio Vazquez” or follow this link: https://www.youtube.com/@Xavierzev
• Video—A Conversation with Martin Sheen and Rick Steves on the Value of Travel, inspired by the film The Way. Search “Rick Steves and Martin Sheen” or visit https://www.ricksteves.com/watch-read-listen/video/martin-sheen-travel
I pray that they are a blessing to you in this season.
God’s peace,
Pastor Laura
