Our congregation has participated in Prison Ministries of Upstate New York’s (PMUNY) “Messages of Hope” campaign the past couple of years by completing cards for our Brothers and Sisters in Christ. We wrote personal messages during worship on Sunday, December 1.
The “Messages of Hope” cards are intended to communicate affirmation for the faith journey of the incarcerated individual. The cards are distributed to area prisons during the Christmas season.
PMUNY’s Mission is to provide spiritual, educational, and financial support that enables Christian volunteers to minister to incarcerated individuals and share Jesus’ message of love, healing and reconciliation.
