This Sunday we launch a new worship series called “Good News Travels Fast” as we look at the spread of the good news of Jesus Christ and the expansion of the early church. We’ll start with some of Jesus’ most famous words—what we call “The Great Commission” in Matthew 28:16-20. Here Jesus sends his followers out for ministry in his name. “Go,” he says, “Make disciples, baptizing, and teaching.”
